Use Lavender Oil For Candida Yeast Infections

If you contract a Candida infection you can suffer from a range of symptoms from mild itching and redness all the way through to serious flu-like symptoms and chronic fatigue. Unfortunately, some strains of the infection have developed a resistance to the most commonly used anti-fungal treatments. Some natural oils have been found to be an effective way of treating the condition. Of all of them, using lavender oil for candida infections is particularly successful.

To aid the healing process it is helpful to reduce the sugar content of your diet as much as possible. Candida thrives on sugar so cutting your sugar and complex carbohydrate intake will reduce the infection. Garlic is also an anti-fungal and can aid healing. Pro-biotic yogurts will deal with any imbalances in your stomach.

Check for common symptoms if you are concerned that you are suffering from this infection. Genital thrush in women can result in itching, unusual discharge, or redness. In men it can cause sores around the head of the penis, discharge, and itching. Oral infections usually result in a yellow coating on the tongue. The symptoms of serious Candidemia can be fatigue, elevated heart rate, quick breathing, and other flu-like symptoms.
