Researchers also claim that it has the ability to reduce anxiety, hence minimizing hysteria and nightmares.

Although some claim that the oil works by psychological means, its mode of functionality has never been understood fully. For application, you could either rub some drops on your temple before sleeping or diffuse it into the air. Other modes of administering bergamot oil include topical application, placing into deodorant or simply incorporating it into meals. Since it doesn't go well with direct exposure to sunlight, it's important that one covers the area of skin where they apply it before going outside.

Check to see that the item you're buying only consists of pure essential oil. The label also needs to specify the country of origin in addition to having the oil's scientific name clearly displayed. Additionally, one must learn to distinguish between manufactured scents and pure, natural products. And while applying, try to experiment by combining various methods to see which offers the best results. If you have delicate skin, dilute the oil accordingly to prevent disorders.

While aromatherapy has varying degrees of success in curing sleeplessness, it may not necessarily provide a remedy if your issue stems from a different illness.
