Cold sore can only be managed and prevented from reoccurring. Some of the steps you can take include eat cold foods, apply sunscreen on your lips, drink a lot of fluids to remain hydrated, use mouth wash if brushing your teeth is painful. If a remedy reacts adversely drop it and look for better options.
